For those of you who need to grab and go with your breakfast (snap!) I’ve been trying out breakfast pots, which you can make up the night before and grab from the fridge to eat whenever you get a sec on the train/bus/school run/at work.
It’s really healthy and simple, and will help stop you reaching for the biscuits at 11am.
20g (approx) Bircher mix
Half a grated carrot
Half a grated apple
Almond milk (or whatever you prefer)
Handful of blueberries
Dollop of fat free natural yoghurt
- Pop your Bircher in a Tupperware or other container (I love a jam jar because I can never find the right lid for my Tupperware when I need one) and cover with the almond milk (level with the Bircher).
- Add your grated carrot and then apple and pop some Blueberries on top.
- Add a dollop of natural yoghurt.
- When you’re ready to eat, use a fork to mix the ingredients a little, and tuck in!
